Sweet and savory with citric acidity and a smooth mouthfeel. You will immediately be able to discern the fruity aromas that make this coffee so distinct, and flavorful.

This specialty grade coffee comes to us through the newly established Wolichu Wachu washing station. Founded in 2017, it already serves 4,500 local smallholder producers. Most of the contributors reside in and around the town of Haro Wachu in the Urga district of Ghui situated in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. The average farmer here produces coffee on half a hectare of land (roughly 1 acre).

The washing station is equipped to perform multiple processing methods. Natural lots, such as this one are sorted and laid out to dry on raised beds for 8-20 days depending on the weather and the expertise of the Washing Station manager.
